I love when the weather cooperates for a long weekend. :)
We headed down the QE2 on Friday night for a very special 1st birthday!! My niece turned 1 and we went to the Old Spaghetti Factory in downtown Calgary for some good food and fellowship! We arrived a little early, so we strolled around and took some photos... so fun!
These next photos were taken just before we got in trouble! Ha! Apparently, we weren't allowed to take photos at this specific skyscraper downtown.... we found that odd, but heeded the rules nonetheless...
Below, you can see the security guard very purposefully walking towards us!!! HAHA!
SOOOOO BUSTED!!!
Ella with her new puppy from Uncle Tyler and Aunty Jessica! She loves puppies! When you asked her what a puppy says she says, "'oof 'oof!" So cute!
Lemon time! She liked it and didn't like it all at the same time... she made the funniest little faces every time, but always kept going back for more! :)These flowers are from Donna and Chester's garden... it's where we got to Sunday morning meeting and she was so kind in cutting two huge bouquets for us and for another family! I can't remember all the names of the flowers, but they are so gorgeous and I just love them!
Sunday was a fantastic day as usual... we had a small little meeting, but still so rich in bread! It's amazing how that works! After meeting, we had a BBQ lunch along with my brother Gabe and then lounged on the deck for a bit. Around 4pm, decided to hop on our motorbike and go for ice cream in Sylvan Lake. It was insanely busy (long weekend! duh, Jessica!) and we left rather quickly and came back into Red Deer for supper with Scott and Vanessa!
Today is going to be a home day for me... I'm actually going to start working on my closet project and get some ironing and menu-planning done for the week! What are you guys up to today on Holiday Monday?! How was your weekend? Do tell!!

A fun weekend! Haha - that's a good pic with the security guard sneaking up! I had no idea photo taking was against the rules either.. oh well you managed to get some cute ones before the fun was ruined!
